Through researching history behind festivals, events and therefore particular times of the year to travel to certain areas, I truly recognize where I wish to go with my artistic works. Although my vision is a lifelong project, I have been developing ideas for what I am going to get up to over the next while and since I have actively been developing concepts to share my own Awareness, I have a sincere passion for the work I take part in.
Into the Future of Awareness: Inspire people to LOOK INTO THE WORLD AROUND THEM.

To Research their beliefs, their interests, their opinions. (Illustrate thinking ‘caged’ in which the city is ‘fenced in’, what would be a FREE SOCIETY ( the people enjoy their lives, know their freedom, and government does not crowd those freedoms because the people would protest.) **incorporate speaker in SIcko, where ‘fear or morals removed’ here we protest, AND ARE HELD BACK FOR ‘FREEDOM OF SPEECH (ex, SPP, protest pics) =tickets, permits required to sell own creativity, drivers license renewals= cost for everything, age of drinking/time of prohibition, *pharmacy vs. ‘illegal’ drugs (psychiatry industry, medical association) *Government spending- where is your $? -filter into education,
community projects, where we use it =youth learning/getting engaged (heritage days, medieval) *Know our history, decisions made through biases, power *Where is the power? Government for the people, or lobbyists/politicians through media =Center of cities, corporations, banks, $, environmental issues, industries that embrace pursuit of profit

Into the Future of Education & Understanding: Through the organization I work for as a support worker for teens, children and babies, I am developing friendships with a range of individuals.
Through my understanding of people, cultures, and the benefit of developing people to their potential, I will be able to share a part of rearranging education. I am sharing histories, awareness and inspiring messages through such videos and I am going organize events that bring our youth together in awareness and interest such as ‘Blue Skies Festival’

Artistic videos that unite important concepts of our history, allowing us to realize =’Uncle Tom’s Cabin’ and various sites of black history for understanding history of slaves becoming free through the ‘underground railroad’ *’Wish Centre’ in Chatham where they have an ongoing program of developing history of black peoples (mention Witchhunts/opinion at a time where they killed people) =Around southwestern Ontario, Classes of Emotional Intelligence & Empathy, Life Skills courses in Chatham, Speaker at Ursuline College

Extra video footage to be incorporated Local events: in Chatham: heritage days (September 21-23), Medevil festival (June 6th9th), Career Innovation Time (continual project development/ showing to classes in May and June), and speaker Mike Nickerson on Sustainability, author of ‘Life & Money (continual project as he tours the country) *These events are taking place over the next while, and I am developing a story in which I combine them for the further development of my ‘Into the Future of Understanding’. For this video I will show aspects of our society and culture in which youth citizens would get engaged in. They would also benefit from these areas of education as they can apply thee skills to their life. Through learning these vital aspects of daily life, they can better understand themselves, others in their community, and the world around them.

In time, as I get my ‘Awareness videos’ together I will be developing Festivals and ‘Education Days’ in which I bring students together and take them through an ‘outline of understanding.’ After sharing a video, we will have discussions of what they agreed with/disagreed with, liked/disliked and understand/didn’t understand. *I will hand out forms in which the students discover their personality through Myers Type Indicator and they can get into groups with people of similar personalities, and different personalities. Through various activities such as sports, music, the arts, they will interact to get to know each other. *I will have the students come up with ideas that they could do to share their and promote that they research their opinion. April 15th- May 5th 2008 Amsterdam- Queens Fay Festival-April 30th *To witness and capture a festival of unity, music and dance *to understand a culture where ‘all come together to experience what they choose yet hostility is not recognized on the streets’ *To attend and film Cannabis College in which they have ‘education’ of history of the hemp plant, benefits to be obtained when we develop production processes July 3-10th 2008 I will be traveling up north to encounter the culture of First Nations and take footage of the beautiful landscape that Up North has to offer. *Showing this more ‘slowed down’ way of life, in comparison to the ‘busyness’ of life in cities. T
o understand a history of people that hold an outlook of life that incorporates reverence for nature. To understand the timeline of our experience- Aboriginal people lived on this land in sustainable communities (with nature of Prairies, forests, water) well before *To understand their culture, their view of life. August 1-9th 2008 Blue Skies & ‘Hemp Dreams’/ Hemp Farms/Toronto Freedom Festival *I will attend ‘Blue Skies Festival’ which takes place near Alqonqian, Ontario. This Festival is unique as it encourages its attendees to organize a workshop. For those that put on a workshop, admission is free as space is limited.

*To show a cultural development of people who engage themselves in this event to experience music, awareness and an atmosphere of encouragement for learning, and sharing in cultural traditions such as music and dance. *To continue my research for the development of the natural resource of hemp in order to gain an outlook from those who contribute to an economy of hemp or those who produce hemp products while promoting the development of SUSTAINABILITY *To gain a perspective of people who are actively contributing to developing a prosperous hemp economy

November 1st- December 5th 2008 Asia- Beijing *to understand aspects of ‘collective society’, comparison of population, education, religious traditions (enlighten oneself, meditation) *a tradition that has expanded in the western world since reformations -to look into a ‘scene’ that has been emerging throughout all cultures (according to research I’ve looked into, it has especially risen in the Chinese/East Indian culture)

Other Projects for future: New York City- a multicultural city, celebration of Christmas and new years where people come together and celebrate a tradition they enjoy (December/January)

Out East- 4 day music festival of culture and people coming together for music they love -in an atmosphere of ‘laid back’ culture and beautiful ‘countryside’ landscape (August)

Out West- Olympics 2010 -to show an aspect of our world where we engage in a tradition that unites countries through activities that we all enjoy

We live in a time of choice. Nations are caught between war. Famine raids the lives of many and as a whole, we consume our resources.

PROJECT

Project Description Through artistic communications I am expressing what I have come to understand about our world, who we are and the beautiful world we will live in when we wake up to Awareness and learn to appreciate cultural diversity. Although I have true inspiration for life long projects, my current project involves sharing Awareness of cultural diversity, developing an education system that students will wish to get engaged in, and inspiring people to discover their passions.

Although many people live in a world where they believe in freedom and opportunity, many people also live their daily life with stress and fear. Although some people enjoy a life of leisure and socializing without concern for what goes on beyond the busyness of daily life, we also live in a world of present day issues ranging from poverty, war, climate change and depletion of our natural resources due to a lack of understanding reasons and resolutions for these sufferings. * And an understanding of our Divine nature*way of inner reflection, connection and unity of spirit*

Although most of us dream of a world in which we will live in Peace and Prosperity, we must learn to face our thoughts, take responsibility for our actions and recognize our experience as a result of our actions. When we can face the truth of ourselves, together, we can embrace a world of that which we desire.

Detailed Outline

In a world caught between conflict and a planet in which humanity faces the consequences of our actions, people need to become aware of what direction we can go to develop communities of sustainability.

As humanity faces this ‘tough time’ however, I aim to keep people inspired and motivated to affect positive change by creating cultural events in which people can unite, celebrate and appreciate the diversity of who we are while we critically think through world issues.

I am developing artistic works that incorporate awareness of issues that face humanity as a whole, while inspiring people to embrace themselves, learn their passions, develop their interests and get engaged to understand and contribute to the world around them. I travel to different events, festivals or cities that offer awareness for such things as social issues, cultural diversity and celebration of appreciation for diversity. Before attending I gain an understanding of what I will encounter so I can plan what I want to film and where I want to be for certain aspects of the events. While attending them, I record footage and take pictures of the experience as I survey the scene, the crowd, and chat with people to get opinions. Through my understandings of a broad range of issues, ranging from social development, awareness of our history and appreciating the capability we have to fully recognize that we are globally and technically connected, I have been developing plans for what I wish to film and create over the next while.

Over the duration of my project I am going to travel to different places and events to get footage of festivals in which I will edit into artistic works that instill an appreciation for diversity and an understanding of our world and social issues. For a particular project that I work on, I use footage I took at an event, photos I have accumulated and messages of understanding that I have written throughout my years of research, education and interest. As I develop a story line that shares a ‘message of understanding’ I incorporate music into the film project. Through music, people are guided through a flow of awareness, allowing people to FEEL the message being conveyed for themselves. Through my personal experiences as well as my education that guided me in understanding the critical point in time that humanity faces, I have developed a sincere passion to develop artistic works that will inspire humanity to make a shift in the direction that will guide us into a world of Peace and Prosperity. Through my artistic projects of video, art and music, I am going to show important histories, time periods and decisions that have affected the development of our societies and world. I will then travel to different cities through ‘intro parties’ to show my videos and share awareness. As I continue with my artistic projects, I am going to create a system that will motivate people to develop their passions and get engaged to share their understanding and interest. Through my current project I am inspiring people to ‘research your opinion with an open mind, develop your passions and get engaged to share your voice’. As artistic works come together to share understanding and awareness of social issues, I will create various festivals in which people of all ages can attend to experience beauty in diversity.

Through Artistic projects in which I am in the midst of recording... histories, cultures and festivals around the world, I truly anticipate sharing my awareness of social and world issues through artistic communications. By realizing that we are at a point in which we can learn to truly appreciate that we are truly globally and technically connected I recognize the importance of critically thinking through world issues, rearranging education for developing potential within every individual while inspiring people to get engaged and discover their passions.
